Quileute Tribe reaches deal for park land transfer

The
Quileute Tribe of Washington has reached an agreement to swap land with the
National Park Service.
The tribe has been a dispute over the boundaries of the
Olympic National Park. The deal would apparently resolve the tribe's claims and allow the tribe to receive land in order to move some buildings out of a tsunami zone.
Rep. Norm Dicks (D-Washington) expects to introduce a bill to authorize the swap, a spokesperson said.
